Now I am two days following my last refeed, my weight came down 1lb total since yesterday. I figure within the next 3-4 days I will be at a new low weight. Today is my off day for weight training. I did my morning cardio and still walking the dogs after. I takes me forever to get going in the morning. I wake up at 7:00am and then I am usually finishing meal 1 by 9:00am, then I can start working for the day. Once I am going I can keep the engine running hard all day. For the off day diet carbs are adjusted a little bit lower and fats higher.
Renee and I got a grill yesterday, which was a big pain in the ass. So we have a natural gas hook up on the patio for a grill, but we bought a strictly propane grill. Yeah, we had no idea what we were thinking. We returned that grill and bought one that will do both but I had to convert the line to natural gas and take all of these little gas orfices out of each burner. Shit, I earned my meal last night guys. We bought some Prime cut Tenderloin and I think it was the best steak I ever cooked. Internal temp hit 135 degrees and it was pretty on the money.
Put here is you can be on prep and enjoy your food. I eat chicken for majority of my meals. But I have an Air Frier, Instapot, and grill to change up the methods. We have about 5 different seasonings we rotate as well. That is enough variety, so I don’t get bored at all. For Renee and I, cooking can be a good way to connect as well and share an experience together. On prep, our date nights are limited to coffee shops, movies and stuff like that. So, you have to get creative and find some activities that keep it fun for both people on prep. Oh another food topic, Thai rice noodles are delicious. If you are a pasta/noodle person try these out. I know there are some gluten free noodles out there, but they use corn and crap in them. These rice noodles digest very well, you could even plan the macros for some tomato sauce if in the right phase of your program.
