Dallas Europa Prep Log: 15 days out

Current AM weight: 212.4lbs

So, last time I left off on my trial run of diuretic use. So at 10:30pm I took a dosage of diuretic (I won’t disclose details) and went to sleep as normal. I also weighed in at 219.0 this night, which was really high as I am normally 215-217. That night I only woke up twice to pee, it was quite a bit, but I normally get up three times. When I woke up I was 212.4, actually two pounds heavier than the previous day. Now, I did drop almost 7lbs overnight, which give me some insight into the effects of the diuretic. However, my weight being up was the surprising thing. I do think training legs that day inflamed them and brought weight up and also I dropped out a fat burner two days prior which might have started making an impact as well. Regardless, I woke up looking very tight.

So the plan now is for one to add back in the fat burner and implement a refeed day to carb up and see how I look and watch my body weight. I stuck around 350g of carbs and brought protein down some, since carbohydrates are protein sparring  I just won’t require as much. Dietary fats were held constant. Fluid and sodium were at there normal intake today, salting all meals and getting in 7 Liters of fluid.

I went with my large pancake meal prior to chest training, which was great. Energy levels were solid and I had a great pump too. Digestion was no issue either. Posing after training I look super full and hard. It was around 5pm and I weighed 217.0, so a 5lb gain from the AM, which was reasonable.

Post workout I had planned to have a sushi meal. Just fish and rice digestions so well and its enjoyable to get out on prep for a date night when able. So I just had 20 pieces of Nigiri. I think sushi is the funnest thing to eat on prep just from the eating experience perspective. All the variety and dipping in soy sauce, it makes it a lot of fun.

Post sushi Renee and I headed to see Dead Pool 2, which I loved.  I liked better than the first one. I am a big Juggernaut fan, so they sold me on that right away.

We got home from the theater and I ate my last meal and still weighed 217.0 prior to bed. So, my weight came down compared to the previous night even after the refeed day. For tonight I am going to double the dosage on the diuretic and see how much more it pulls me down and the look I have. I am basically monitoring my look, weight change, and how I can eat and drink during the day and what weight gain occurs. This will help me narrow down my protocol for weigh ins and show day.

20-30 minutes prior to workout
6g Citrulline
5g Hydromax
1 scoop Animal juiced aminos
1 scoop Animal Spiked aminos
3g Creatine
1g Pink Salt
20+ ounces of water

Intra workout Layout –
1 Scoop Animal Juiced Aminos
1g Pink Salt
– 1 liter of water

Meal 4
6oz flank steak
180g white jasmine rice
100g spinach

Meal 5:
20 pieces of sushi

Meal 6
6 oz chicken
20g almond butter
100g – spinach cooked

260g protein, 360g carb, 33g fat


Bowel regimen:

-3g Magnesium Citrate powder meal 1 and meal 6

– 5g fiber powder meal 1 and meal 6
