Dallas Europa Prep Log: 5 days out

Current AM weight: 207.4 lbs

Sleep was just okay last night. Prior to bed I was 213.6 lbs, which was a shocker and I knew I was in for an all time body weight low for today. Sure enough I dropped 2lbs below my previous morning weight and was 207.4lbs. Lightest I have been since being an amateur. I think the day of rest just really dropped cortisol down and allowed inflammation to subside and I pushed out a lot of water overnight. Looking at my morning pics, I am just shredded. I have never been this conditioned and I am just simply stage ready. I can now just coast in to the show pretty much. Weight is right where I want it to be, since I can wake up and have 5lbs to play with prior to making weight at 5pm on Friday. So, Friday I can eat and drink and then taking a diuretic on top of it I am going to be crazy full and dry to the bone.

After looking over my plan and the result from the rest day it was easy to say cardio is no longer needed. I am dropping weight just resting all day, so cardio is stopped. For diet, I do not want to get so flat that it takes multiple days to fill out, so I am going to add in 60g of carbohydrates for the day.

I still went to the gym fasted and ran through a complete Neufit lengthening session. The machine just opens up my quads, hams, glutes, lats, and chest. I also train abs and practiced posing. I decided I still want to get some form of productive work in fasted, but this will enhance my physique a lot these past few days and make everything pop more.

For preworkout I pulled out the rice and rice cakes and went with 100g of pancake mix. I used this before going on stage in New York and it digestions great. I don’t have any belching with it and my waist stays very small with it. So, today was a good day to give it another go and see how I fill out. I think testing out your food sources prior to show day is so important so you don’t blow it going off your prep diet. I see people add in burgers, fries, and/or pancakes without ever trying it during there entire prep. This is just asking for a disaster, you need to try and nail down you peak week and show day foods way in advance. I did have pancakes success today and looked crazy full and dry. So, pancake on show day is going down!

I feel so refreshed today and confident in my look. These next days are such a waiting game, I am just trying to take in every moment and enjoy the process. I’m so glad I have Renee to experience this whole thing with me. She has been such a part of my prep and shared in the work right along with me. This will be an emotional one for both of us and we just thank all of you that support us and keep encouraging us to be the best we can be.

Meal 1
6oz flank steak, cooked wt
100g white jasmine rice, cooked wt
100g spinach

Meal 2
40g protein – whey iso
60g – oats

Meal 3:
6oz chicken, cooked wt
1oog Krusteaz Pancake Mix, dry measurement (75g carbs)
100g – spinach cooked

20-30 minutes prior to workout
12 oz black coffee
6g citrulline
1 scoop Animal Juiced Aminos

Intra workout Layout –
1 Scoop Animal Juiced Aminos
1g Pink Salt
– 1 liter of water

Meal 4:
6oz chicken, cooked wt
100g white jasmine rice, cooked wt
75g Spinach cooked

Meal 5:
6oz chicken, cooked wt
45g oats, raw measure
20g almond butter
75g Spinach cooked

Meal 6
6oz chicken, cooked wt
20g almond butter
100g – spinach cooked

250g protein, 195g carb, 37g fat


Bowel regimen:

-3g Magnesium Citrate powder meal 1 and meal 6

– 5g fiber powder meal 1
